Anamnesis: The allergy started at about age 16. Since he was doing aquatic sports, it was repeatedly diagnosed as sinusitis or multiple infections. It was first diagnosed as allergy at age 18. His symptoms were strong high fever outbursts and itchy eyes. It was especially bad in August. When his allergic reactions became unbearable , he went to see an allergist. In 1987 it was found that he was sensitive or allergic to the pollen of almost all known plants in the country, the Ambrosia sp. Parlagfű being an especially strong allergen. First it was treated with drug therapy. He got Tevagyl, but he stopped taking it, because due to the side effects he could not lead a normal daily life. After this they tried Sandosten, Zyrtex,Claritin and Semprex , but none of these were effective and all of them had side effects. He decided to stop taking the drug himself. Other supplementary or alternative therapy was not offered. During the perion of 1987-1994 his condition had not changed. In the allergic seasons he got outburst-like symptoms, he was lethargic , tired, and unable to concentrate.
In may 1994, he started taking acupuncture treatments. It was traditional Chinese acupuncture, administered by Chinese doctors at a naturopathic clinic led by Ajándok Eöry. The initial 10 consecutive treatments were followed by 3 treatments per week , and they resulted in a significant decrease of his symptoms that year. The treatments continued from 1995 until today in the Yamamoto Institute.
Dr Le Thuy Oanh, an internal specialists, administers the treatment. She uses a special technique, catgut embedding , by which she implants absorbable surgical thread at he acupuncture points. The treatment take place once per between late February and October. Since 1995 the improvement in continuous , steady and even. Recent condition: In the year 2001 by taking the treatments his symptoms receded until August. The mucous membrane of the nose was in an irritated state, and the conjunctiva in the eyes , but the rhinitis did not become a outburst. . The patient fells well. For prevention , as a supplemental therapy in August he takes Rhinocort Aqua and Opticrom eyedrops. The patient tolerates the treatments well, he is cooperative and shows up for his condition the above mentioned treatment is the only effective solution. The patient continues to feel uneasy that the treatments are not covered by health insurance.

After my treatments I feel better and better, I can move easier. At first I was not able to move by myself than I could use a walking frame, then 2 crutches, than after a couple of weeks I was able to walk with one crutch. After the fifth treatment I can walk without crutches and slowly I am getting able to croutch and walk on tiptoe. My hands work almost perfectly and they are stronger. The pains are almost completely gone. In the last month there is significant improvement in my condition.

In the summer of 2004, I did a bad headfirst dive and strained my back. In the next couple of days I had unbearable pain at certain movements. I treated myself with different muscle relaxing ointments and balsams. By this time I was unable to do even a small grocery shopping, because my back could not hold any weight, and I was barely able to walk. Since I have previously had knee surgery (resulting from sport accidents) at the Sport Hospital of Budapest. I turned to them for help. I was diagnosed with ischemic lumbago that could develop into a slipped disk over time. I received injections into my spine and very strong antibiotics , but after two weeks my condition had still not improved. I was told to get an Mr examination, and based on its results, I got a new prescription (a stronger one with more side effects) and had to do special exercises.
At this time one of my colleagues told me about Dr Oanh acupuncture doctor, who cured her back pain ( a pinched nerve) with only one treatment. This is how I got to the Yamamoto Institute of Acupuncture, where I chose the catgut embedding method. At first I had to go for treatment every three weeks. Now I am after the fourth treatment , and six weeks went by without any pain before the next treatment. I am especially happy that I did not need surgery. I am sure sooner or later I would have needed it, if I had used traditional medicine. Moreover I should have had to fight the-who knows that kind of-side effects of the drug therapy. I had concern befor e about acupuncture , I could even say I did not believe in it at the beginning of my treatment. But I had to realize that this ancient method is a very effective cure to my disease, without any side effects. I believe that if I ever have any diseases in the feature, I will go to doctor Oanh for help.

Zsolt was born by cesarean section with muscle stiffness. We went to the Petho Institute and exercised him since as soon as he was 1 month old. When he was 8 month old we were told to stop the exercises , because he has no muscle stiffness anymore. By this time he was able to stand up, but his legs were crooked. and it got worst as he grew. This was seen also at the regular orthopedic check ups.
He was seen by many orthopedic professors, among them Dr. Tibor Vízkeleti. He said that Zsolt needs surgery,, but it is better to wait a half year because he is only one years old. We took him to the professor in March 1999. On our request he did not perform the surgery. We went from doctor to doctor again. We got the advise to raise his vitamin D intake, but our family doctor did not approve it , because vitamin D can be easily overdosed. We got to the National Institute of Rehabilitation to Dr. Róbert Mező, who said , let is find out is not this rickets. We shall give him an endocrinologist test. We went to the Heim Pál Children Hospital, where a head physician told us only after one blood check. Let is raise his vitamin D to a 3-fold dose! We went back to the family doctor, who allowed this dose of vitamin D only for 3 weeks. Then he sent us to the children hospital in Tűzoltó street , where after multiple blood tests and a 24 hours urine check etc. They confirmed that this is not rahitis, but they did not know what it is?! After this we went back to the orthopedist who said.
When we come back next time, he must have surgery. We were frightened and started to look for a solution to avoid surgery, and through a friend we got to Dr.Le Thuy Oanh, who started to do catgut-embedding treatment on Zsolt. We went to her first one and a half year ago in February 2000, at first he was treated every two weeks , then three weeks and recently four weeks. Zsolt s left leg was a curved about 20-25degrees, his right leg somewhat less. We could put a big ball in between his legs. To the effect of the treatments both of his legs started to straighten and it is improving continuously.
As of today little deformities can be seen of his legs and we are relieved that the danger of surgery is over. As a final thought I would like to say to all who read this and have never been to a treatment we were very afraid of acupuncture we did not know what will happen, what to accept. However if you can overcome this fear in yourself, believe me it is worth it. When Zsolti gets up from the table where hi is treated with catgut embedding acupuncture by doctor Oanh, he is completely healthy, feels has no pain and his legs are improving.
I think this is worth everything!

It was in December 2006 that I made my first visit at DR. Oanh because of ovary cysts. My gynecologist suggested an operation because I suffered from a 4th grade endometriosis as well. Because of this I had painful menstruation, digestion-and sleep disturbances and skin problems. After the first treatment at Dr. Oanh s I have no cysts according to the latest ultrasonography and I had a normal ovulation. It means that I does not have the 4th grade endometriosis any more because it causes infertility. All my symptoms have disappeared and my digestion has turned to normal. I recommend Dr. Oanh s method to all those who believe in the possibility of get cured and believe of themselves.

I have been having problems with my joints over the last 12 years. At first one of my knee got swallen painful, than the other as well. Later fluid accumulated in the joint. Because of that and the increased pain my joint movement become limited. In the following years the chronic inflammation extended to the wrist and elbow joints and the spine. In addition to the chronic inflammation , about 5-6 years ago I started having symptoms of acute inflammation of the wrist joints (pain, swelling, redness, heat) with a high fever. These symptoms lessen in spring , but in summer and fall they get worse. The changing weather conditions make my symptoms get worse as well. I have been thoroughly examined many times . I was diagnosed with chronic poly arthritis , but the possibility of Lyme disease was also considered. Some tests proved it , the others did not. Now it is considered that I have Bechterew disease. During the past years I have been taking non-steroid anti inflammation drugs for a long time. For a shorter time I also took antibiotics in a large dose, and steroids. In addition to thr drug treatment I also went to physiotherapy and special gymnastics. These treatments had helped some, but in general the disease got worse.
About 3 years ago I went to the Yamamoto Institute , where Dr. Oanh and her co-workers advised me to choose the catgut-embedding acupuncture treatment. As a result of this acupuncture treatment I have experienced positive changes. Generally I feel better, I have gained weight from 48to 70 kg. I also have less medical problems. The acute periods with the high fever have gradually ceased. Before, during these acute periods my wrist got swollen to 2-3 times its original size so I had to wrap it up with elastic bandage. Since most of the time my right wist was affected, it made even the smallest every day tasks very difficult to do. I think, that even though my chronic problems still exists , the disease is not getting any worse , or if it is, it is progressing at a much slower pace. Now there are some periods of the year, when I do not to take any anti-inflammation and painkiller drugs at all. I think this is due to the catgut-embedding acupuncture treatment, and Dr Oanh and her co-workers. I can recommend this treatment and the Yamamoto Institute to everybody, who has similar problems, which can not be cure int he traditional medicinal system. Even though the 20minutes long treatment is not too pleasant, you get used to it, because it is simply better with it then without it.

In 1989 after multiple stomach pains I was diagnosed with gastric ulcer. After many years of therapy my complains did not cease , then additionally I had to deal with meanwhile formed??? and hernia. In 1997 my symptoms became so severe , I had pain for 8-10 hours in every 4-5 days , and the drugs did not even help anymore . The helicobacter was cured with drugs. My physical and mental health was completely deteriorated. I lost 15 kg. At this time doctors brought up the possibility of surgery. In may of 1999 I got to Dr. Le Thuy Oanh by coincidence , who started catgut-embedding acupuncture on me. I was surprised after the first treatment already , because ont he first week I was waiting for the regular symptoms , but they did not come. My first stomach ache come about four weeks after the start of the acupuncture treatment but it was far less severe than before and lasted for only 30 minutes. During the first year of my acupuncture treatment I had stomach pain and sickness about 10-12 times, and there were times when I had to go to her out of schedule bent over from pain, but she was able to help and stopped my complaints.
At first I went for treatment every three weeks , then the intervals gradually increased. Now I go to her every 8 weeks , and I have no complaints.
Today it is exactly 2 years since I started the acupuncture treatments. As a European person I meditate, that as we step over from the twentieth century to the twenty-first, and the western medicine was not able to help me with my gastric illness.
Today my initial doubts about acupuncture are gone. My illness may be triggered by incorrect lifestyle at any time but now I believe that acupuncture can really heal

I would like te express my appreciation for caring me from my gall stones, which I have been diagnosed with 2 years ago. My stones were discovered int he Rokus hospital for the first time and I was suggested undergo on an immediate surgery.
